Urgent Special Request

The Haitian people are losing hope. We continue to do all we can to help. Our options are being eliminated as Haiti is a minute-by-minute country with lack of action or apparent plan to take on the heavily armed criminals. Can you imagine yourself in their position? Constant fear, starvation for you and your children, gun fire, murder, unrelenting heat and thirst, kidnappings, and rape outside your door?

The gangs are still settings homes ablaze, attacking police stations and killing with impunity.
UN officials say gangs are reportedly paying people to stay in their communities so they can serve as human shields during the police operations.
Haitians are expressing concern that if the International Mission with Kenya doesn’t start conducting operations that result in visible changes and victories against the gangs soon, their presence may be viewed unfavorably.

Urgent need for prayers in response to the downward spiral in Port au Price. Please pray with us, July 15th through July 28th

Below are 8 prayer requests specifically chosen because the number 8 is referenced in the bible as a new beginning and Haiti desperately needs a new beginning.

1.) The renewal of YES!’s paperwork, and the government office responsible for processing it will be open and operational.

2.) Wisdom for the YES! staff and board in all our next steps. That the work of YES! would always be what the Lord wants.

3.) YES! employees have heart for the work of YES! Are proficient, equipped, and desire to stay in Haiti.

4.) God will provide a trustworthy and righteous YES! manager to fill in for Pierre when he is away.

5.) Haitians to denounce idols and false doctrines. Repent and turn completely to the one true God. The Holy Spirit to send a wave of conviction to turn away from their sins.

6.) The gangs and gang leaders would encounter the living God, know His love for them, repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.

7.) The people of Haiti would know God's love for them.

8.) The Holy Spirit to fill Haiti's current governmental leaders and the counsel with God’s wisdom, understanding, discernment, transparency, integrity and knowledge. Cause them to know and fulfill God’s purposes in Haiti and not their own purpose.
