Psalm 46

Good day YES! How are you? Are you holding up ok? Psalms 46 is my life verse and it gives me great comfort especially during times of need. It states: God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble (verse 1). Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging (verse 2). Some days it does feel like the earth is giving away, the mountains are falling away and life on this earth is very hard. However, God tells us that HE is our refuge and our strength and not to fear. Some days are very hard but God will give us the strength and courage to help

us and bless us. God is within her; she will not fall; God will help her at break of day (verse 5). Thank you as you have been there for me, help to provide food for me and helping me get an education. God willing, I will finish high school in October and be able to take my final exam. Psalms 46 continues “Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress” (verse 6-7). Even though things have been very hard for Haiti, in the world and for you and me; our Lord is with us and he will not forsake us or leave us. That is a promise. I ask God to always protect you all and for God to bless you.Verses 8-10, Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolation he has brought on the earth. He

makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Our Lord is Almighty and our fortress and He will be exalted among the nations. Be still and know that he is God and he is with you. God is for you. Thank you for all that you represent to me. I am very happy as you are here for me and help me. Thank you so much. God bless you. I love you. Praying for you! The Lord Almighty is with us; the god of Jacob is our fortress (verse 11).
